WORLD UNDER 21 FINAL

Fans of the Bottesford Bullets didn't know who to cheer for in this one as their two 18-year old starlets found themselves in a run-off for the World Under 21 title! The decider saw young Australian WILL PUCOVSKIU upset the odds somewhat by getting the better of TYRONE YORK, who had to settle for a silver
medal. The rostrum places were completed by JAY PATTERSON (Necrons) who seemed to let nerves get the better of him in his first ride,
where he missed the start completely, before looking like the fastest rider on show as he rode unbeaten after the early blip. With the
top 3 being aged 18, 18 and 17 respectively they will all be back over the next 2 seasons, 3 in Patterson's case, and I don't think anybody would be surprised to see the trio lift
more junior crowns between them.

Finishing 4th to 7th were Robert Pusey, James Mitchell, Sigurour Sigurour and Ryan Roy, with the 20 year-old quartet all impressing but clearly frustrated to come so near but miss out
on a medal in their last season at Under 21 level. Other riders who will be back for a future attempt at Under 21 glory are Vojtech
Beran, Jason Lomas, Riley Payne and Tommy Barnes who won a race each to prove they are capable of challenging if they can maintian progress. Gael Nicolas didn't win a heat but scored in each as he came 10th, justifying his seeding to the final after injury, as did Ryan Roy, and has two
more seasons competing in the Under 21s also.
