Ultimate League stars RHODRI SZCZYGIEL and EDDIE MENDOZA filled the top 2 spots in this GP Challenge Semi Final, the meetings always amongst the toughest in the season with just 4
qualifying places up for grabs. The other spots in the GP Challenge went to ARNE KARLSEN and JAKUB BARAN, both currently riding their
speedway in the European Leagues.

For the rest the race isn't necessarily over with 1 wild card placed up for grabs in the GP Challenge - Teodor Patocka finished 5th in the round, 2 points clear of the rest of the
field, meaning he will certainly be considered for that pick (this was confirmed following the 2nd Semi!). From the rest the bookies
fancied Richie Sampson to progress but he made a slow start and had just 2 points at the interval; Yder and Heyvaert (in as a wild card) were also well placed in the pre-meeting
betting but didn't do enough, despite being pretty well placed by the end.
